teamWorkr 3.1.3 released

Christmas Release: Even better integration

As the year comes to an end we have one last teamWorkr version for you in 2018. This release focuses on integration and bug fixing.

teamWorkr has already elegantly integrated itself into existing environments in the past. It could easily be combined with IBM Traveler to provide a seamless user experience for our customers. Until now you could already integrate teamWorkr via iFrame into other applications, but you also saw unwanted functions like the pins.

teamWorkr standalone

This is helpful if you use teamWorkr as standalone version but not if you integrate it into any other solution. Starting with Version 3.1.3 teamWorkr can be even better integrated into existing environments. With the help of the Runtime-Detect-Mechanism, teamWorkr now automatically detects if it is running within another application (e.g. Connections, Office365 or any company site). In this case teamWorkr focuses on the content and surrounding elements are hidden automatically.

teamWorkr embedded

As always you can get the new template via our Self-Service Portal. We will also blog some more about the new functionality during the next weeks and give you some Best Practices and Examples.

Have fun with the new version and let us know what you think about the new release via @TTteamWorkr

Release Notes

What's new:

  • Better usage of space layout. The attachment area can be hidden and an indicator shows the number of attachments and a button to open and close the area.
  • Persistent PINS: PINS are available after next the start of teamWorkr or after reload!!!
  • teamWorkr embedded: Using teamWorkr in an iFrame leads to an reduced layout concentrating on the content.

Optimization:

  • Optimized usage of space for PINS on very large screens.

We squashed some bugs:

  • Fixed an error on computing the height of the content area.
  • Fixed an error in Internet Explorer 11: Pins could be generated but not be used.
  • Fixed an error on iPad not displaying more than one action.
  • Fixed an error when to display actions in edit mode
  • Fixed errors by using teamWorkr as PWA: Favicon, charset
  • Fixed errors when to disable fields (radio-button, data-field, checkbox, multivalue, dialoglist)
